What is your affiliation?
I am ordained through ULC (Universal Life Church) and have no specific affiliation, I am open to all religious and secular ceremonies.
What are "segments" of the ceremony?
A ceremony typically follows this order:
Processional
Welcome
Words from the minister (which is me telling your story and talking about love and marriage)
Readings if you choose ( I have religious and non-religious readings I can offer)
Vows if you choose (you can write your own or go with ones I provide)
Declaration of intent (I dos),
Any unity declarations (IE; sand ceremony, unity candle, hand fasting, etc..) This is optional!
Ring exchange
Conclusion
Pronouncement
Introduction
Recessional
Do you need a microphone?
It’s preferred if your DJ or venue can provide a mic, if not, I have one.
Is there a fee for travel?
Locations 30 minutes or more from Clarkston, MI will be subject to a travel fee.
How long have you been doing this?
I have been planning, coordinating, and officiating in the wedding industry for 18 years!
What do you wear?
Usually a black suit, or black top and pants, but if you have something else in mind, I am open to a wardrobe change in keeping with the theme of your wedding if you have one.
When do you arrive on the wedding day?
30-45 minutes before the ceremony time.

What if you are unable to perform the ceremony?
I am part of a network of officiants who can help each other in a pinch!
Are you LBGTQ+ friendly?
Of course! Love is Love!!
Will you be at rehearsal?
Rehearsals are included in the Full and Semi-Custom packages. If you have a planner, day of coordinator, or venue coordinator who will be at the rehearsal, you probably don’t need me and I can deduct $50 from the package.
How long is a typical ceremony?
Custom ceremonies are generally around 15-20 minutes. They can be longer if readings and unity ceremonies are added. Elopements are around 5-10 minutes.
Do you file the marriage license?
Yes! I will file your license priority mail. You will need to get your license before the ceremony. Click marriage licenses to go to the tab on this website for more information.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, money order are accepted. Zelle or Venmo is preffered.
Do you offer a Military discount?
Yes, all members of the Military, First Responders and Medical Professionals deserve a $50 discount on Full and Semi-Custom packages!
